The Summer 2020 collection underscores Anemos' aesthetic and its reverence for '90s simplicity while combining it with the influence of 1970's Sud de France and Southern California’s heritage of surf and skate style. The ready-to-wear takes inspiration from menswear tailoring but reimagines with a feminine twist. Our separates celebrate the ease and style of '70s fashion icons and include the Hutton Shirt and Keaton Trousers. Board shorts and relaxed carpenter pants play on classic California staples, while wrap skirts and crop tops in lightweight fabrics feel fresh and feminine.
This season’s swimwear features the clean lines and '90s inspiration now signature to our brand while paying homage to ’70s icons, including Jane Birkin (The Jane Bikini Top). These references are most visible in plunging silhouettes, exaggerated collars, and tortoise shell details. The color palette of our collection pairs earthy hues-from espresso brown to deep rusts- with saturated sea tones and bright whites inspired by the laid-back feel of California beach towns. An abstract tiger print strikes a playful and sultry note, and sits perfectly alongside the leopard print which remains perennial in the collection.
